Something went wrong. Please check your entries and try again.

For the next 10 days we will be embarking on a simple, and inquisitive gratitude practice. Using creative expression, I will offer you a prompt each day to explore your surroundings and evoke a sense of gratitude using simple art tools.

Materials that will support the Creative Gratitude Practice (and feel free to improvise with what you have on hand):

  • A Journal or Notebook
  • A Phone to Take Photos, or a Digital Camera if you wish to produce actual photos
  • A Small Sketchbook
  • Colored Pencils, Markers, or Oil Pastels
  • Magazines to cut out images for Collage
  • Glue Stick or Mod Podge

If you would like to share any of your findings with me, feel free to email me during or after the practice with your impressions and any artwork and poetry that arrives along the way.

You can also tag me on social media on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn and use the hashtag #creativegratitude

Keep the daily practice as simple as possible so you can sustain it, especially if you have limited time. However, do give yourself space to experiment if the practice inspires you to create more.

“Adriana is an excellent choice if one is looking for a therapist or coach. She is insightful and engages on deeper hard levels and stirs the juices bubbling within. She firmly guides one to creating healthy boundaries and cultivating resources in very practical ways . The trust and humor she  embodies is refreshing and down to earth -  and it is the weight of her emotional integrity - her raw honesty that is a real gift.” — Susan Nalaboff Brilliant, Dancer, Visual Artist

“Adriana is a soulfully creative and gifted healer who is highly attuned to the individuals she works with. In working with individuals in recovery from an eating disorder who feel disconnected from their bodies, her compassionate and mindful presence creates a sacred healing environment to help these individuals. She allows the opportunity to move toward acceptance and re-connection with this disowned aspect of themselves in a safe and nurturing manner.”

Carol Dietrich, RN, LMFT, RDT
